Information systems are computerized tools that process and provide access to information.

Examples of Information systems are:
1. An ATM machine - processes information so you can process information and withdraw money

2. A traffic light camera/speeding camera - They process data of cars who have been speeding or unnind red lights into information tht can be accessed by the police/ road an traffic authority and also newer technology may allow the public by going on their website.

3. Online shopping - once u buy the item you give your data/account details so that you are able to buy the product immediately and all you have to do is wait for product arrival
